Preschool

What is Preschool?

Preschool is all the time leading up to formal schooling.  There are many activities to do, along with habits and experiences to cultivate during the preschool years that can ease the transition to formal schooling.  So the next logical question is, "When does formal schooling begin?"  This can vary from child to child, but generally it is best to wait until at least age 6.  That doesn't mean you should be doing nothing before formal schooling though.  Check out the ideas and links below.  Any and all of these activities should begin naturally and organically as part of your everyday life as your child is ready and interested.
